So,…I Heard last evening that a contact-friend of mine from our painting group has missed work, since our meeting last month! Apparently no one at her office has any idea what’s going on. I know she was a big believer in boosters, etc and I do know she has had “Covid” a couple or more times ? a few days sick….~~~I can only imagine this has all caught up with her and likely not going well? indeed, i continue confused and angry that like her, millions of otherwise smart people are poised to make up their own diagnosis rather than dig for the answers, because to do so is to believe “the other side”…… what do-dos, please, put away your intellectual pride…not doing you much good here. I grow a bit of fruit & veg myself on an allotment not far from me. In the last couple of years several plot owners have experienced theft, I put this down to the steady rise in food costs & the big rise in people using food banks, desperate people that haven't ever committed a crime in the life, take what they need to feed their families. I live outside of a major city, it's fairly rural, but we still a lot of crimes, such as theft from charity shops & recently the coop was robbed of £500 of tobbacco products. The police were called but refused to come as the thief was not armed. They finally turned up two days later to take statements & to view the cctv camera footage. I wonder how people will react when they impose these 15 minute neighbourhoods? As I say I live in a semi rural area, with plenty of wildlife, woodlands & a lot of posh houses, so a tempting target once law & order collapses. A couple of years ago we had some light snow & the two supermarkets near bye ran out of bread, toilet rolls, tinned foods, so imagine what would happen if hackers crashed the Internet or an emp was detonated. If they turned my area into a 15 minute neighbourhood, it wouldn't worry me to much, but I know areas in & around the city where people are afraid to leave their premises, imagine having to live there.
